Joe and Famlies: My deepest sympathy on the death of dear Earlene. I just found out today Sunday from a friend if mine. I am so sorry I missed her wake and Funeral Liturgy. Earlene was a beautiful woman inside and out. I met her while teaching Catechism to Jackson and Ella. My Mother thought the world of Earlene too. Earlene has left an amazing legacy. Let's all of us continue to share our memories of Earlene. By doing so we will keep her spirit alive!! I will pray for Peace on her life in Eternity. I met Earlene while in hospital, & we became fast friends and that didn't surprise me as I found her to be one of the kindest and most spiritual people I had ever met. She spoke of her love for family and I witnessed that love first hand.I was heartbroken to hear she had left this world as it was a better place with her in it. A sample of the thoughtfulness of this angel and her beautiful family ..I had been in hospital since Dec 15 and she became my roommate Boxing Day I believe...her and I had late night chats and kept each other company as being in hospital during the holidays was difficult .Anyway my husbands birthday was Dec 28 and I was worried that no one would get him a cake or anything and our holidays were already a disaster..The day of his birthday Earlene had her husband Joe and her daughter Jolene bring in a cake and candles and surprised us and sang Happy Birthday.This was a gesture of kindness shown to people she had just met..What a selfless and beautiful soul God gave me the good fortune to meet. Imagine the love this woman had in her heart. I hope her family realizes that kind of love never leaves she will surround you forever.Earlene made me want to be a better person and I believe I am for knowing her, however brief our encounter was, it touched my heart and I mourn her with a heavy heart. May God Bless the Landry family and may you all find strength in one another during such a loss. How blessed to be able to call her your wife,mother,sister grandmother or friend. Truly blessed~ Amen.

Earlene had the biggest heart, and was a kind beautiful soul who always greeted you with her kindness, and warmth, and treated you like you were always her family with her big smile, whose glowing character could always light up a room, and cheer you up, and make your day. Earlene was the sweetest, kindest lady you could ever meet. She alway had a big beautiful smile Anytime I ever asked for a tshirt or hat for my karson , she always had one on hand. So very sorry to hear of Earlene's passing. I first met Earlene through St. Anthiny Daniel Church and school as my children made their sacraments there. However, it was through CWL that I really got to know her. What a joy! Always had a smile on her face and a joke to tell. A faithful loving person who made friends wherever she went. She was so happy in doing so and so happy and proud to have her daughter, Jolene, by her side. May the wings of the angels take her home to rest in peace.

Earlene was one of the kindest,most thoughtful people I knew. She was always happy, sharing that wonderful smile with whomever she met. To know her will be to remember her and I can only imagine how she will be forever missed by Joe, Jolene, Jeffrey, her grandchildren and extended family.
