Dear Lar, Steve, Cheryl and Marcus,
I was saddened to hear of Marie's passing. She was a wonderful wife/mother, and I have many fond memories of her laughter and smiles at 6 Charlois Court! She had the coolest car - the white Honda Accord with the sunroof, made the best Nanaimo Bars, and, I will always remember, she listened to Motley Crüe!! One day I went down to your house to get Marcus to do something and there was Marie - in the living room vacuuming with the Crüe's "Looks that Kill" blasting from Marcus' treasured ghetto blaster! I remember walking up Landrace with Marcus afterwards saying, " That is so cool! I never knew your mom liked the Crüe!" That was Marie being Marie. I remember the stories from mom talking about their golf games together, their bridge games, and the fun trips taken with Lar and my mom and dad. Marie touched many lives in such a positive way and her smile and kindness will live on in all who knew her. Sincere condolences to you and the Davidson family during this very difficult time. God Bless,Dan

Dear Larry and family, the Osborne family and the Davidsons have been in each other's lives for the past 45 years. We are so fortunate to have made contact with "that family down the road with the dog that barks "all those years ago. These many years of back and forth on Charlois Ct as well as all the fun times in " The Condo " , Florida, Myrtle Beach and each other's homes for drinks and dinner , cards and laughs will be in our hearts forever.I will add to my sister Rachel's memory of a new years eve at your condo that it also involved a drive home in a police car and say no more :) Dear Marie was a beautiful soul that was genuinely interested and cared when she asked " how are you doing Kath "? Her compassion for others and friendship that she gave truly made a difference in many lives. She loved her family with all her heart , a beautiful, kind, compassionate ,supportive and forgiving heart ,one that I was blessed to have known. May she rest in peace and you all find some solace in knowing that she is now in your hearts xoxo
Love, Kathleen (Kath ) Osborne

Dear Larry and family,
When I think of Marie, I see her smiling. Her smile radiated into the room and brought warmth to everyone lucky enough to be in her presence. She always made us feel so comfortable and welcome.
She loved playing cards and games with her family and her laugh was contagious. She was always agreeable to whatever the “gang” wanted to do, a great sport!
She was wise and caring, concerned about the well-being of those around her. She was such a positive presence in the lives of her family and friends.
We are thinking about you all at this time and hope that those wonderful memories of such a beautiful lady will help carry you through this most difficult of times.
Love, Cheryl and James Mosher, Sackville

Larry (Mr. Davidson), Steve, Cheryl, and Marc - sending you heartfelt condolences from our family to yours. Although we haven't seen one another in a number of years, the bond and great memories of being childhood friends remains.
Growing up on Charlois Court meant running back and forth from one house to another in between street hockey, football in a backyard, baseball in the street, hide and go seek, Alcatraz, birthday parties, etc.. Although many of us kids would be leery of the Davidsons' dog Snitz (his bark was worse than his bite) when we went over to the Davidsons', Mrs. Davidson always made us feel very welcome, everytime.
I'm saddened to hear of your mother's passing, Marc. We're thinking of you during this difficult time.
Your friend,
Tim

Dear Larry and family.
I am so very sorry to hear of Marie's passing. She was a dear friend to my mom and dad, and our entire family loved her dearly. I have so many fond memories of Marie, most especially her wonderful laugh and her smile that lit up a room. I will always remember the New Year's eve we had with Larry and Marie several years ago - lots of card playing, wine, and uproarious laughter. She was one of the kindest and most gentle people I have ever had the privilege of knowing, and I know she will be sorely missed by everyone whose life she touched. She certainly touched mine.
Wishing you strength, peace and comfort at this incredibly sad time.

To Marie's family..I was truly blessed to have worked with Marie at the "old Grace" and IWK as a social worker in the Perinatal centre and in a Reproductive Mental Health Service. She was truly one of my very favorite people and I will always cherish many special memories of times shared together. She was a highly respected nurse who brought comfort and joy to all her patients and their families. She was fiercely proud of her Larry and all her family and loved you all dearly. Her sense of humor, beautiful smile and the twinkle in her eye were such a gift. Know she will be missed terribly but hopefully she is resting peacefully. We have all benefitted from having her in our lives. Sincerely, Nena Nauss
