Thinking of you and your family at this time. My son is there today with the troop and was a close friend and fellow sapper. No words can express what you are going through, and how hard this is for all who knew Tyler. Rest In Peace. The McDougalls.

As a Canadian Military Engineer, Tyler was a cherished member of an extended family that includes not only his Regiment, but that spans the entire country, and indeed spans through time, from retired members to current and future member of the Branch.
A family that has recently lost one of their own.
Please accept the deepest sympathies from the entire extended family, as you go through these difficult times.
Colonel Marc Rancourt
Canadian Military Engineer Branch Advisor

Although I did not know Pte Hiscock, I have two sons who are military, one retired from the
Navy a few years ago and the other one is currently serving, based at Base Gagetown, it is
a very trying life serving in the Military and we owe a great deal of gratitude to these brave men and women
who serve so we can have a better life. Sometimes, the struggles are just more than they can bear,
RIP Pte Hiscock, and may God, in his tender mercy grant your family peace, strength and courage to
face the difficult days ahead
