Smith (Fancey) Patricia, Patsy, Pat, Patti, Mom, or her favorite, Nanny, passed away October 16th, 2019, at home, surrounded by her family.

Born in Amherst, 1944, she is survived by her husband A. Grant Smith; daughter Taira (Matthew Butler); son Eric (Lisa MacKenzie); grandchildren Sam, Elias Evelyn Butler, Isabelle and Ria Smith; sisters Barbra (Stuart) Murphy, and Brenda (Stephen) Boudreau.

Thank you to long time friends Lizzie, Donna, and Eileen for their support during the last few challenging years. Thank you to all the medical staff who took great care of her.

There will be a gathering at the Smith residence on Sunday (October 20th) for friends and family between 2 and 4.
