Condolences to Grant and family. I first knew Pat during our Education year at Dalhousie and for the next two years we were neighbours and then colleagues for many years after that. She was a very memorable lady - a lot of fun even at work, with a quick wit and contagious sense of humour. She will be missed. Don Zinck

My heartfelt condolences to Grant and Pat's family. She and I spent great times together: sharing an office at JL Ilsley, playing bridge, travelling to the Bahamas, and partying for years. The memories are all delightful. Although we haven't seen each other for years, I'll never forget her energy, humour, and friendship. I'm so sorry to see her go. My love and thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.

Grant & Family, It has been many years since I chatted with Pat and even many more years since we were colleagues at B.C. Silver and J.L.Ilsley High Schools. Those were wonderful days with discussions, meetings, lunches and laughs. It seems a lifetime ago. Pat was so quick about things that her students said she had the homework on and off the board before they opened their scribblers! Miss Fancey (later Mrs. Smith) was our math teacher at B.C. Silver High School. She was very young (it might have been her first teaching assignment) and very beautiful and all the boys had a huge crush. She was also a great teacher with a heart of gold.
