My sincere condolences to the family. Everyone should have that one teacher who cares more than they are supposed to and goes that extra mile to connect with their students! Ms. Levantine was that teacher to me. One of my fondest memories of her was the day I showed up for class to find out she’d put masking tape over the keys on my keyboard so I would learn to type properly without looking down. She was very special!

Craig and family, i was so sad to hear about the passing of your mother, Cathy.
We grew up together and went o the same schools.
We were the best of friends and had many fun times together.
She was a very kind and loving person. I can only imagine the love she had for her grandchildren.
She loved you and was so proud of you Craig.
Condolences from me and my family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Your Mom is at rest and in the arms of the Lord now.
Love and prayers,

I am saddened to see that Mrs. Levangie has passed. She was my business teacher at St. Pat's from 1975 to 1977. Thankfully, she made a huge difference to my life's career path, and I have thought of her throughout my business career. She was highly respected by her students and taught life lessons in addition to business lessons. I will always think of her with fondness and admiration.

To Cathy's family and Pat Butler - I knew Cathy because Pat was married to my cousin Dennis. I had the pleasure of accompanying Cathy to a high school dance in 1962. She was a pleasant person to spend time with. As I moved away from Halifax in early 1964 I did not get to see her after that until the mid 1980s when I dropped in to the Butler's cottage at Black Point one evening after I had finished a business meeting in Halifax. We had a long chat and it was a pleasure to renew our acquaintance.
Please accept my condolences on your loss of a dear mother and sister

My condolences to Mrs. Levangie's family. She bought tickets to the drama club play knowing she couldn't make it that night. She was the best typing teacher ever! Always a pleasure to come to her class. 1972.
