Ken came to our family when I was in my mid teens. I am the youngest of Dedee's children, and for years it was Dedee, Ken and me in our house. Although he wasn't my father, he was fatherly towards me. Even when I tested his patience, he was kind to me. He gave me driving lessons, liked to tease me about boys, and encouraged me when I went to university. Together, Ken and Dedee had a lot of good friends, especially "Millie and the Gang" with whom many good times were had. He really enjoyed visiting our French relatives often, even if he never learned to speak the language. His mischievous smile said everything; no need for words. Everyone liked Ken; it's just the way it was. My heart goes out to Liz, Diane, Shelley, Tanya and especially to my brother Gilles and his wife Tammy; Ken never could have doubted how much he was loved by you.
He will be missed and always remembered.
