Obituary of Donald David Hall

Donald David “Ducky” Hall, age 75 of Halifax N.S., passed away on June 17, 2019 at the QEII Hospital.
Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Thomas and Bella Hall.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Colleen Hall (Blackburn); sons, Glen (Donna) of Riverview, NB, and Michael (Jennifer) of Calgary, Alberta; sister, Shirley; his beloved grandchildren, Jarrett (Ashley), Jannell, and Jillian; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Beside his parents, Donald was predeceased by brothers, Joe, Roy, Tommy, Eddie, and Bill, as well as sister, Mary.
Donald was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Vimy Branch, a Labourers International Union Local 615 Executive Member, and worked for over 30 years as a construction labourer. In his later years, he was a crossing guard with the City of Halifax.
A Celebration of Life will be held at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Bayers Lake, Halifax, on Saturday June 22nd, from 1 to 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
