Such sad news.
What a smile he put on my face at the Enviro Depot with his attitude, stories of the area and treats.
Mr Spencer what a treat to know you!

Dear Joyce, Carol, Judy, Ruth and families:
John and I have thought of you often since our visit to Windsor Junction in February.
We are currently visiting Megan in Edmonton and just checked today’s paper and saw Cecil’s obituary.
We are so happy he was at peace, surrounded by family. We do not get back to Nova Scotia until Saturday evening so sadly will not be able to come out for a visit that afternoon. Please know of our love, and prayers for you at this sad time. We are also thinking that Mom will be happy to see him again. Your family was always so good to her, and such good friends.

Classy gentleman, humble with sly sense of humour. Painted my parents’ home interior and later did mine as well. No need of protective tape for Mister Spencer! I am grateful that I knew him those many years ago. He was a rare gem.
My condolences to the Boehner family who inherited a lot of his fine character.

Alice, Carolyn, Judy and Ruth. Our thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. I remember Carolyn and I travelling with Cecil to Halifax in his Volkswagen Van. Full speed and everyone else passing us. What a laugh we had. I’m sure great memories will get you through this difficult time and knowing he lived a good full life.
