Obituary of Elwood Allen Bolivar

Bolivar, Elwood Allen, age 77 of Halifax passed away December 1st 2015 at the Victoria General Hospital. Born in Branch Lattave, Lunenburg County, he was the son of the late Edgar and Beulah (Young) Bolivar. He is survived by his wife Janet (Payzant) Bolivar, daughter Andrea (Darren) Barker, Petawawa, Ontario, Brothers Edgar Jr (Bertha), Earl (Dorothy), Ernest (Liz), Eldridge (Joan), sisters Viola, Violet, Valerie, grandsons Tommy Barker, Franklin Barker, step grandson Malachy Kelly, Gatineau Quebec, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Verley. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 7th at 2pm at the Bethany United Church, 7171 Clinton Avenue, Halifax. Reverend Vincent Ihasz and Reverend Dr. Randy Crozsman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bide Awhile Animal Shelter, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Reception to follow in the church hall. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Services, Bedford. 835-4212.
