My sincerest condolences to the Morris Family. We were all very saddened by John’s passing. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him at Maplestone. I will miss that wonderful smile. John was a wonderful person, and loved his family dearly. Please take comfort in knowing that he is at peace now with the Angels, and his beloved “Ruthie”. God Bless.

I have known Johnny for the past 60 years or so when I was a young lad with the Bill Lynch Shows. Johnny, his father and brother Peter were always a friend. How I enjoyed just having a little chat with John and reminiscing of days gone by. I will miss you Johnny, Rest In Peace. I was saddened to read of Johnny’s passing in this mornings paper. John was a fine man. A smile always comes to me when I think of him and Ruth. When ever I go to a carnival and pass a ” treat” concession stand, my mind wanders back to the Bill Lynch days when I enjoyed the generosity offered by them and the genuine friendship they gave so freely. I extend thoughtful condolences to the entire Morris family from myself and my dad Barry Rofihe.

We were so very sorry to learn about John’s passing. I remember playing hockey on the backyard rink that John made every year and working for him and my buddy Michael so many years ago. John was truly a passionate man who loved life and sports. He was one of the hardest working men, I’ve ever known.
