Obituary of Brian Scott Clyburne

Clyburne, Brian Scott age 60 passed away on Saturday June 4, 2016 after a lengthy hospital stay. Born in New Glasgow he is the son of the late Albert and Jean Clyburne. Brian spent 35 years working in technology at the Sonar department HMC Dockyard doing a job he loved. He retired in 2011. He also was well known for his sense of humour, general knowledge, and his willingness to help family and friends with all things technology related. Brian will be lovingly missed by his wife of 40 years, Lorraine (Willett); his son Mike (Karen Musual); daughter Angie; grandson Xavier and his sheltie dog Barbie. He will be also missed by sisters Patsy (Harvey Treby), Elaine (John Russell), Verna (Charlie Paton) and his brother Stewart (Mary). Besides his parents Brian is predeceased by his father in-law Larry Willett. Thank you to the family and friends who visited during his long hospitalization, the staff of 9A and all those who participated in his care. Special thanks to his niece Mandi (Dr. Amanda Webster) who helped him and Lorraine through a difficult and often confusing time. Following Brian’s request there will be no service or visitation.
