I knew Marie through the Transportation Dept. and always enjoyed seeing her. The last time I met her was last year in a store and we both gave each other a big hug. How sad I was to read her obituary last week. She will be missed by all. My condolences to her family and friends.

I was dumbfounded when I read Marie’s obituary in yesterday’s paper. To her family I want to send my heartfelt sympathy. Her glowing smile in her picture in the Chronicle Herald was the one I remembered as her Grade 3 teacher in Louisdale. I was fortunate to meet up with Marie again many years later when we lived in Wedgewood . God bless you all and may she rest in peace. I will remember her in my prayers. Keith, Chris and families We so sorry to hear of Marie’s passing. We only knew her through the tree lot but was easy to see what a lovey person she was and her love / pride in her family. For the New Ross boys the delicious meals she cooked them, was the main draw to go shearing each year.
