Val, Graying, Geoff and family,
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Dolores. I had the wonderful opportunity to spend many years with her, and all of you, in your home. I have many sweet memories of “Val’s mom”. The french toast (that she always made us after our sleepovers, despite us probably keeping her up all night), the cookies (cooked to perfection and not just one batch, but chocolate chip, peanut butter AND chocolate chip peanut butter), and finally those lemon squares….I considered her a second mother, as I was able to confide in her and feel comfort in the fact that I always had a place to go and feel welcome. She will be truly missed. Hopefully she rests easily know that she leaves behind a beautiful, strong family. Thinking of all of you during this difficult time.

Dolores and I had so many goods times together. She affectionately called me PITA (pain in the ass). Our many road trips took us all over the province. We worked hard together when the deadline got close. When she offered to bring in a container of chili, we jumped on the chance! The chili was loaded with different beans and so delicious! She gave my son a computer which is something I’ll never forget. She generosity was unmatched. Hugs to you Grayling, Valorie and Jeff.

Dolores was always a caring person. She loved everyone that was a part of her life, especially her wonderful family. Whenever she talked about her grandbabies her eyes sparkled and her face would light up. I have enjoyed my years of working with her and it’s just not the same without her. I hope all your wonderful memories will bring you great comfort. Keep them in your heart and she will always be with you. My thoughts are with you. Hugs

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Dolores was a special lady. I worked with her through good times and not so good times and she was always a trooper. Her family was her pride and joy, as you could see from the many pictures she surrounded herself with in her office. We will miss her greatly.

Geoff and family my deepest sympathy and condolences to you all. Your mother and family have been friends to my son Jeremy and also welcomed our Neesa into your home and I know how much the “boys” all enjoyed her cooking and food donations to them. Your hearts are heavy and I hope that they may be filled with the beautiful memories she has given you all and please know her love for you will always be a part of you that hopefully will uplift you through this sadness.

Grayling and Family :
I was shocked by the news. Jean and I pass on our condolences to your families. We will always remember Dolores for her kindness and putting up with me during our younger years. She always laughed and had made time for everyone especially the kids.

Delores was a lovely lady, who I’ve only had the pleasure of knowing these past few years. Stories of her family were always a delight to hear, as well as the delicious recipes she shared with us all around the table. We will certainly miss her in the lunchroom each day; especially on “burger Wednesday’s”. My sincerest sympathies and condolences to her family. “To live in the hearts of those she loved, is not to die.”
