Our condolences to Bernadette’s immediate and extended family from her cousin Jack Hest and his wife Pat from Okanagan Falls, B.C. It has been a lifetime since I last saw Bernadette. I remember her as a tiny person with blond curly hair. I left Glace Bay in 1955 and have visited only on rare occasions. To those of you who remain, take care of each other.

Dearest Cal and family: We find it hard to believe that our Bernadette is no longer with us. Trips to Cape Breton will never be the same without her.
