Sending sincere sympathy to the Duff family. I did not know Emerson well – he was a cousin to my dad Ken Duff who passed away many years ago. I met Emerson and Mary infrequently over the years and saw them both at the funeral of my mother in 2009. On behalf of my sister Paula, brother Terry and myself please know we are so sorry for your loss. Emerson was a fine gentleman and I know he will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family members especially Helen and Blaise….thinking of you both at this time. The last time I had talked to Emerson was at my Aunt Karen’s wake in January of this year. He had not changed a bit…I would like to pass on condolences from Ma (Lorraine McLean) John, David, Joanne, Brian, Allan, Bradley, Lisa and Trevor. Rest In Peace Emerson.

I was saddened to hear about Duff’s passing. I have a lot of very fond memories of him playing cards with dad over the years. He was always kind to Shaun and I when we were younger and I am sure we drove him crazy at times. I am also pretty sure that there is a rocking card game going on somewhere in heaven with those two sharks! xoxo. Rest in peace Duff. Setz Sue Ann (Morrison) White

Mary,my deepest condolences. Emerson and I had a few fun golf games together over the years; he was in his early 70s and we were golfing at Alderdale where he made an eagle shot on the third hole from 150 yards out. I told him it went in, he didn’t see it but then started jumping up and down with excitement. He was always passionate in whatever he was doing, fishing, flower business, dog club…he enjoyed life. May your fond memories of Emerson help you through this difficult time.
Love
Denny

My condolences to the Duff family….during the early 1960’s Emerson was a neighbor and good friend of my late father;…..and many years ago, he also visited and stayed with my mothers relations when he visited Alberta;….we had the pleasure to meet up with him again at a family wedding a few years back. He’ll be missed; may you rest in peace Emerson.
