Obituary of Georgina M. Boutin

Georgina (Jeannie) Boutin (nee Somers) of Lower Sackville, N.S. passed away peacefully on October 17, 2016 at the age of 85. Jeannie was the daughter of the late William and Victoria Somers and was born in Charlottetown, P.E.I. We remember her as a kind and loving mother who instilled family values and who had a wonderful sense of humour. Mom was happiest when she was surrounded by her large family. She was a gentle woman who cared deeply about all her family and close friends. Mom’s faith was strong and she was a devoted and active member of the St. John Vianney Church in Sackville. She is survived by her children Pat Hanna (Ron), Judy Doyle (Bob), Vicky Edgell, Dorothy-Ann Vincent (Ernie), Ted Boutin (Sharon), Lee Boutin, Tracey Boutin-Gale (Rob).She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Jeannie was predeceased by Roger, her loving husband and best friend of 65 years. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Q.E.11 floor 8.4 for their care and compassion, allowing Jeanie to pass with dignity. Funeral will take place on Oct. 21, 2016 at 1:00pm, St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
