Like everyone who knew her, Garnet and I loved Elsie. In the last few years we reconnected with Elsie and Bill through camping with her beloved family. We always enjoyed her spirit – she loved people and visiting and laughing together was her essence. Such a sweet, brave lady! Our love to her precious family – we will treasure those special memories.

Elsie was my Moms best friend and also became a good friend of mine. I have many happy memories of our girls weekends at my house in Halifax and my Aunt Jeans cottage in River John. Elsie was an absolute joy, she had such a great sense of humour. I loved her sense of style she just sparkled when she walked in a room. She loved to participate in our family get togethers, she was a huge presence in our lives! Shannon sending her condolences from Africa. Rip our good friend!

We are so sad to her of Elsie’s passing. We know how very close you all were. Elsie was a very elegant, beautiful woman who always greeted you with that beautiful smile. Oh so sad to lose Elsie. My condolences to the Wallace and White families. Your loss and sorrow are great at this moment and only time softens the blow. God definitely “blessed her heart” and also blessed both she and Betty with a thread of childhood innocence that lasted a lifetime. Always a big smile and warm greeting, it certainly was a gift to have known her and I will remember her fondly.
