I met Mary through my dad’s (Ralph Verge) circle of friends, and she immediately made me and my Partner feel at home, and welcome. I felt an immediate kinship with her and loved her ready smile and laugh. I will miss her but I will always remember her with a joyful smile in my heart. My sincerest condolences to the family.

I have known Mary for over 60 years and am totally shocked by her passing. We shared so many great times together. Sherwood Forest, games at the Dingle, trip to Chicago for our sons wedding, trip to Florida and many other wonderful memories. We share in the sorrow of Darryl, Mark and all the wonderful friends Mary had. We will miss her.

Darryl and Mark, I’m so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. The last time I went to Nova Scotia I made it a point to look up your mom and visit her. She was a great aunt and showed my kids what a great -great aunt she was as well. I’ll never forget her laughter, hugs and tears after our afternoon with her. Our condolences to all your family. Your North Bay, Ontario cousin. Chris Kelly and family.

So sorry to hear of Mary’s passing and sending condolences to her family. I played Ladies darts with Mary quite a few years back at Windsor Park. She was a lovely lady and always had time for a chat. I loved seeing her at the dart banquet after I left Ladies darts. She will be missed.

I worked with Mary at Sears Parts and Service, it was always a fun day when she was working as there was laughter and fun. She became friends with my mother at St Benedicts later on and was always talking about her grandchildren and skyping them on the computer. She was a wonderful woman, how fortunate you were to have her in your lives. A great Christian woman to be admired for sure.
