Dear Tom, Troy, Tanya, Benny, and Family:
Elizabeth & I are very sorry for your loss and yet we are also very happy for your “gain” by Marie having lived her life and sharing it with each of you.
I first knew Marie as “Troy’s Mom”, then as “Tanya’s & Benny’s Mom”, and of course also as “Tom’s wife” but I am glad to say that I came to know her and consider her as my friend. Whenever I’ve thought of Marie over these 30+ years since we first met she was always smiling in my mind’s eye. I’ll always remember her that way I’m sure. Whenever I visited her home, your home, in Dominion I could always count on Marie to enjoy a good laugh – and I sure did my best to bring out as many as I could – yet the thing that stands out the most is that she was always very kind. I’ve come to learn that this is something I regard with great value. Marie was a nice person and those lucky enough to consider her a friend, like myself and Elizabeth, will surely remember her this way!
We hope that fond memories of her fill your minds and hearts and help you all during this difficult time. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
