Obituary of Ruthie McInnis

McInnis, Ruthie Jeanette, 68, of Three Mile Plains, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Ruthie will be forever missed by her husband Tony Lunn and mother-in-law Louise Lunn; daughters, Carrie Speelman (Kevin McDonald) and Tracey McInnis (Adam Lantz); and special son, Duayne Kelley. She is also mourned by special daughters, Karen Comeau, Haley Levy and Brandy; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Ruthie will also be fondly remembered by her sister, Bunny (Stanley) Patterson; her best friend, Wanda MacArthur; and all her friends at the campground. Ruthie loved camping; she participated in many Legion dart tournaments over the years; she was also a proficient guitar player and was accomplished on the mandolin as well. A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Hants County Branch #009, 35 Empire Lane, Windsor, Nova Scotia on Saturday, June 17th from 1-3pm.
