It is with sincere sadness to hear the passing of a truly beloved man.The obituary is a great tribute to a man who is admired and adored by every life he touched.Personally,he loved to tease me(an easy target),I remember when he built his elevator in order to get easy access to his workshop in the basement,he would get me to ride up and down on it,then pretend it was broke! His humor gave many a good chuckle.We have great solice in knowing Murray is reunited with his beautiful wife Betty and they are dancing forever together.

We are neighbors of Murray’s son Jim and his wife Joyce. We were saddened to hear of your dad’s passing even though he lived a long and fulfilling life. We never met your dad but in reading the Obituary we felt that knowing you was to know him remembering the many times you spoke of him so lovingly with great pride, humour and respect. Words cannot express the sadness I feel at learning of your Dad’s passing! I believe that the hardest part of living is having to say goodbye to those we love! My memories go back many years, where he and your Mom will be forever young, and shall always remain a part of my childhood. But, as long as we remember our loved ones, they are never truly gone. Wreck Cove, Chester, Tancook, Lunenburg, Bridgewater, Petpeswick – anchored, alongside, outboard – two boats, two families – forever entwined. Cindy (& Family & Dan) So very sorry for your loss. Your dad was a very kind, gentle soul…he lived a great life…he loved his family to the world and back but he will be in your hearts forever. I was deeply saddened to hear of Murray’s passing. My mother (Kay Neima) is a resident of Oceanview (4th floor) so I would see Murray often during my visits. That obituary certainly hit spot on what your Dad was all about for sure. Kind and gentle and as my memories serve me always smiling ..I remember going on the boat for the first time to Chester..getting so sea sick and your Dad feeling so sorry for me …I know the heartache you are all feeling now …. such a sad time … but you have each other for comfort and sharing of the many many happy memories you all have.
