Condolences to the Johnson – Jarvis Families and because of our nephew Scottie we thought of Shyla as part of the Somers Family as well. When I first seen Shyla around town in her younger days I marvelled at how much she resembled our Scottie. Years later when she came to work at Northwood I got to know and love her as the beautiful person she was inside and out so full of humor and a good worker. After we lost Scottie I had said to Shyla at work one day that as long as she was around he would be to. They were both beautiful people. Now all we have are memories and Chayce take comfort in knowing she is not alone. Not only is she with God but is in the loving arms of your Grandmother Barb, Grandfather Curtis and Uncle Scottie. Norma, Dick and Family, I was deeply shocked and saddened by the news of Shyla’s passing. I remember when Shyla was born. She was such an easy-going wonderful person who always had a smile for you. Words cannot express the heartache I feel for your family. Take comfort in knowing that she will always remain in our hearts and minds. Through you her closest loved ones Shyla will live on. We are deeply sorrowed at Shyla’s passing . She was an intelligent , honest person and loving mother to her little Doll. You never had to try and read Shyla’s mind as she always spoke it; come what may. We will never forget her radiant smile; her laughter and wit.
