Obituary of Donna Spriggs

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Gail Spriggs on Sunday July 23, 2017. Born in Halifax in 1947, Donna was a daughter of the late Dorothy and Fred Spriggs. Donna was a Halifax North End Girl! After finishing school, she worked with Supply & Services in Halifax and advanced her career by moving to Ottawa. Eventually Donna returned home to care for her aging parents. Donna loved animals and she owned many cats and dogs. She was an independent woman who travelled and lived her own way. She will be missed by all. Donna is survived by sisters, Diane Pace and Vicki Josey; brother, Bob Spriggs; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. Arrangements have been entrusted to T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Bedford (902) 835-4212. Funeral service will be held Monday, July 31 at 2:00pm in St. John’s Anglican Church, 2187 Larry Uteck Blvd, Bedford, with reception to follow. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
