Dear Donna’s Family,
What wonderful memories I have of Donna!
While I hadn’t talked with her in many years, our last conversation, including a visit to her renovated Hydrostone house about 12 years ago, was as if we had only seen each other yesterday!
I called for Donna everyday during our junior high years at Richmond school. If (most days )she wasn’t ready, I would have grand chats with Mrs. Spriggs. When we went to Bloomfield school for Home Ec, we often stopped off at Spriggs Bros. and hitched a ride home in the back of the truck! One time, probably elementary school days, we started a club, Dizzy Ducklings, held in the Spriggs house attic! What a lot of patience and acceptance was demonstrated by the whole family! Donna had a tough few months, for sure, but I hope you will be comforted by many warm memories and sharing. So sorry to have missed the funeral last Monday.
