Paula, Matthew and family, we were heartbroken today when we heard of Joanne's passing. We feel terrible that we missed this service due to finding out late. Joanne was such a joy and held a special place in our hearts. She did so much for us when our children were small. We chatted with her often at the Sobey's in Clayton Park. She always had a smile that would always make our day. We are so very sorry for your loss, our hearts go out to you all. Please know you are in our thoughts! I am so so sad to hear of Joanne's passing. Joanne was one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. There will never be another like her. Joanne was one of the strongest women I knew. She fought with a vengeance. Always positive and looked out for others. She loved her family unconditionally. Jo was so supportive to me with some bad times I was going through Even though things weren’t great in her world. She always had my back. Our conversations our laughter and road trips. Joanne was “family”, within minutes of meeting her years ago. Joanne was so funny without even trying. I loved that she was a close neighbour and I could go to her for anything, reason or not. I miss you so Joanne. Thank you for the many memories. I will certainly smile when I think of you. My heart goes out to you Colleen. Paula and Matthew you had a wonderful mum, cherish your memories.

Sending prayers for Peace & Strength at this sad time to all family members of Joanne. I too was a RBC’er and had the pleasure of spending time with Joanne from time to time. Always….always she had something sarcastic or funny to say. I would love how she and her beloved Billy would verbally jostle with each other. She loved laughter and brought smiles & laughter to many. I would also have to say she was a fashion Queen. Dressed to the 9’s is how i remember her. When you walked away from Joanne you were sure to have a smile on your face.
