Obituary of Velma Marsman

Age 72, of Halifax passed away on September 10, 2024 in the QEII Victoria General Site. Born in Africville, she was a daughter of the late, Ivy and Clement Marsman. She is survived by her son, Glenn “Tony” (Crystal) Marsman; brother, Granville; grandchildren, Nathan, Tyler, Devan, Kyanda, and Jayce; great-grandchildren, Trey, Xavier, and Oliver; nephew, Randall; goddaughter, Tara and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister/friend, Joanne Stewart; brothers, Carl, Joe, Bruce, and Arthur; great-nephew, Clayton ;godson, Jason; and nephew, Geoffrey. Arrangements have been entrusted to T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Beechville, NS, B3S 1C4, where visitation will be held on September 17, 2024 from 12pm-2pm followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2pm in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lung and Cancer Society of Nova Scotia. .
