I am grateful for the short time I got to spend with Jamie last summer when he came and helped paint our place in Mahone Bay. I'd known Jamie since I was eight, we were in school together from grade three and through university before we went our separate ways in life. We shared many good times. Jamie was great at staying in touch and reconnecting was always a pleasure. RIP my friend and sincere condolences to Jamie's daughters and family for their loss. Well little brother, our time together ended too soon. I will always cherish the time we did have especially our wonderful dinners for birthdays, Thanksgiving and most of all Christmas. I was blessed to have served with Jamie, Gail, Devon and Ella at the Brunswick Street Mission EARLY Saturday breakfast program for many years. I am forever grateful for those years we spent together. The Stacey family faithfully coordinated their folk from church, prepared beautiful food, and served the guests with welcome, smiles, laughter and conversation. I envision Jesus welcoming Jamie in a similar way to the great heavenly banquet Dear Gail, Devon and Ella. May God comfort you in your grief! He promises to never leave you alone.
