Murray Emmerson Kaiser Jr., Halifax, 1958-2024 Murray’s family are sad to report that Murray has passed away after a sudden serious illness. Murray was predeceased by his parents Murray Emmerson Kaiser Sr. and Susie (Latham) Kaiser, his brother Donnie Kaiser, his brothers-in-law Raymond Ingram and Dennis Bowes. Left behind and grieving his great loss are his wife Heather Ingram-Kaiser, his sisters Grace Gibson (David), Eileen Kaiser, and his brother David Kaiser (Sandy). He will be missed by Heather’s family: Michael Ingram (Ellen), Susan Atkinson (Geoff) and Sandra Bowes-Webber (Carl). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews: Scott Kaiser, Steve Kaiser, Katie MacKinnon, Eddie Ingram, Amy Ingram, Chris Ingram, Rob Ingram, Jeffrey Bowes, Adam Bowes, Neil Atkinson, Grace McRae, and his PEI family, many of whom affectionately called him Uncle Murr or Uncle Junior. Murray’s entire 35 year career as a database analyst was with Nova Scotia Power. He was a dedicated, well respected and knowledgeable employee. He was a gentle and quiet man. He was so funny. He was smart, generous and kind. He was loving and he was well loved. Murray was a wonderful husband to Heather and the best pet dad to his rescued fur kids Maggie, Harry and Kali. There will be a gathering on Sunday July 7, 2024 from 4 - 6 pm at 2677 Gladstone Street Halifax main floor. Please drop by to share stories and memories. The family wishes to thank the staff of IMCU and ICU, Halifax Infirmary and Dr. David Tilley for the wonderful, compassionate care they provided to Murray. Animal rescue was important to Murray and dear to his heart.
