Obituary of Thomas William Suzanski
It is with profound sadness that the family of Thomas William Suzanski announces his passing after a brief battle with cancer, on Monday, December 25, 2017, at the age of 61 years.
A native of Winnipeg’s North End, he is the son of the late Mike and Anne Suzanski. Tom graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor’s in Chemistry and Biology with distinction. He then went on to complete a M.Sc. in Human Anatomy from the University of Manitoba. Tom started his career with the RCMP in 1986 as a Forensic Scientist where he stayed until retiring in 2016.
His other passions include, Backgammon where he was well known for his analytical skills, teaching strategies and his world class play, competing against the best in the world frequently. His contributions to the game will never be forgotten. Tom also loved Poker, where he played in the World Championship of Poker, walking his dog with his wife, frequent vacations and watching movies.
Tom will be lovingly remembered by his wife Peggy and his children James and Matt. Tom will also be remembered by his brother Mike and his wife Lynne and the rest of his loving extended family.

A Celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 1 pm, on Saturday, December 30,2017, at the St. John’s Anglican Church, 2187 Larry Uteck Blvd.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists Bedford, 902-835-4212.
