Obituary of Glen Baxter Wiseman

Glen Wiseman Glace Bay, N.S. It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the sudden passing of Glen Wiseman, age 53, at home on April 9, 2024. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Mrs. Mary (O’Connell) Wiseman and the late Baxter Wiseman. Glen enjoyed watching movies and listening to his favorite music, old country and rock. He loved animals, particularly his cats. In Glen’s younger years, he loved spending time at North Street Beach with his friends. Glen is survived by his mom Mary; his loving children, Dylan Wiseman (Rileigh Sampson), Sydney, Rebecca Newell (John Waye), Nictaux, Jesseca Newell, New Waterford, Emily Wiseman, Sydney; his precious grandchildren, Peyton, Greyson, Hanna, and Sawyer; brother, David Wiseman, Winnipeg; sisters, Shirley Kressner, Cambridge, NS, Bernice Addezi, Ontario, Kim Wiseman, (Francis MacLean), Glace Bay; several nieces and nephews, as well as his long time good friend and neighbor, Rob Turner. Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life for Glen will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
