With was with great sadness I learned of Glen’s passing. He was taken far too early.
I don’t remember a time when I didn’t know Glen, or Kim, David or Bernice; Shirley had already left home. With our parents being such close friends and our church community bringing us together several times a week he was a stable part of my youth.
Glen was always happy in my memories bit of a trouble maker / jokester much like his Dad Baxter. He was friendly and pleasant and at times drove me insane like at youth group or in the bus on the way to youth councils. He really was taken too soon.
When my girls questioned why people die my explanation was simple. God gives each of us so many tasks to complete before he calls us home. We never know how many each of us has, it varies from person to person, so we need always be ready.
Glen’s tasks are complete.
Sending love, hugs and prayers to his family.
