We the family announce the sudden passing of Robert Joseph Jessome, age 58, on Sun., March 17, 2024, at home. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Sissy and Gregory Jessome.
Robert was a skilled plumber, and a passionate fisherman all of his life. Robert also loved to play guitar for his children and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Ruthann Jessome of 7 years; a son Gregory Jessome; two daughters Jennie and Leah Morgan; sisters, Linda Jessome, Darlene (Bill) Chiasson and Dawn (John) Boutilier; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 1 p.m., with Fr. Norman MacPhee presiding, in T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. 902-849-4199.
