I first met Nancy when I was a young girl. I was 12 years old and had just earned the role of “Annie” in Festival On The Bay’s production of the same name. Nancy was tasked with making all my costumes (about 5 or 6 of outfits). Even at that young age I was impressed that these costumes were such high quality. It was evident that Nancy was not only a gifted seamstress, but that she took great pride in her quality of work. We had lots of great chats back then. She had a smile that lit up the room and although she was very sweet & kind, she was equally witty. Everybody loved Nancy. And she took my growth spurts in stride as she had to make many alterations to my costumes. After I left Festival On The Bay, I lost touch with her until 1998 when I married my husband Kirk Bradbury who was very close friends with Nancy’s son Stephen who we affectionate call “Lovey”. Once I discovered Lovey’s last name I knew right away he was Nancy & Sid’s son - he has her smile and quick wit. I enjoyed reconnecting with Nancy when she would visit Lovey in Gagetown when we lived there and then later on Facebook. I always thought very highly of Nancy. Lovey, Michael, I am so truly sorry for this profound loss. Your Mom was one of a kind. Kirk and I send all our love to you & your whole family. We wish we were there to give you a big hug. May beautiful memories of your mom bring you some comfort as you all attempt to move forward with your grief. Love Jodi & Kirk Bradbury

My deepest condolences to Stephen and Mike and all of Nancy's family. Having lived across the street for so many of my formative years, theres too many memories to share but one that stands out is when Nancy asked me to model the Rythmic gymnastics outfits for the 87 Canada Games so she could make alterations and adjustments so they looked perfect. Her light will continue to shine through thoughts and memories of all who loved her.
