Lloyd was one of those "they broke the mold, when they made them" kind of people. Don't think he was scared of too much in life and pretty well grabbed the bull by the horns. Shame I hadn't seen him in literally decades, would've liked to catch up. Rest in peace Lloyd.

To my childhood buddy. I'll never forget our camping trip to nearby KOA as kids with my dad and, when it was over, telling him how sad I felt about you not having a dad growing up like I fortunately did, and I cried. But that didn't deter you. You always had a positive attitude, prioritizing others, making them feel good. The NS Department of Transportation (and Tourism) owe you recognition for your customer service excellence and local hospitality, exemplary of a Caper, from the deck of the Englishtown Ferry, by gifting everyone your smile, adding whit and a willingness to help others. Many memories from the kitchen with your mom Jessie present, entertained by keeping an eye on us, like when we squeezed oranges to our Vodka glasses for lack of orange juice, enjoying rabbit pie, and yes, some trouble we got ourselves into, which we'll take to our grave. God bless.

After Aunt Jesse died I went to the house and I cried when I saw her empty chair. Lloyd said "Norrie get your ass into that chair so she will stop crying"

Dearest Family of dear Lloyd:
My heart goes out to each and every one of you. Lloyd was a dear soul, always friendly and help in any way he could. I will never forget him "stepping up to the plate" to help us move Sandy's stuff (after he had died) from his apartment in North Sydney to Canso. It was a stormy time of year at that to drive a uhaul. May God comfort each and every one of you, and wrap His arms around you with His peace to fill the empty place. Forever in our hearts and thoughts, Pastor Marsha, and cousin Pastor Charles Allen.
