Janet, Tyler and Katie,
Linda just told us today of the shocking new. Mary and I are stunned, bewildered and saddened, by Kenny's sudden passing. We consider ourselves lucky to have known and befriended such a character. Truly a kind soul. My last conversation with him was during the last two snowstorms as we were digging out Linda. We did more cursing, which only led to laughing at the whole thing. I will very much miss doing the over the fence talks. Our condolences to you guys and Linda. He will be very much missed.

Steve and I want to express our condolences to you all.
This man has been in my life for 45 years.......sometimes it felt like 145 years.....if you know you know.....
Anytime Steve needed a carpenter.....Kenny was his first choice. He loved Kenny's humor and his ability to make me go from 0 to 100 in less than 5 seconds........
Lives change, people change.............but Kenny was always our Kenny........
Rest in peace my dear friend...........you were loved.

It is so hard when you lose a childhood friend. Kenny was such a good guy from an amazing family who always welcomed me with open arms. The Singleton’s are a special breed that I was lucky to be part of growing up. I smile at the memories that I get to carry. My deepest condolences to Janet and his children and the entire family. Stuart & I had a chance meeting with Kenny for lunch, in Halifax, Nov. 18. We talked about Glace Bay, school, friends, work. etc. He was so friendly and loved his Campbell & Singleton families. Kenny was a very proud father, "beaming" when telling us about what Tyler and Katy did, are doing now and what is ahead for them. They are perfect! No father could be any prouder of his children than Kenny! We enjoyed his company so much. We were so lucky to run into him.
Our sincere condolences to Janet, Tyler, & Katy. You have a special angel watching over you!
Our sympathy to the Campbell & Singleton families.
Rest In Peace, Kenny.

I am shocked and so sad to learn of Kenny’s passing. I haven’t seen him for a few years but I knew him well as an amazing young man who loved his family and his many friends in Glace Bay and across Cape Breton. He was funny and loving and brave and joyful every day; the type of person people love to be around. I cherish the time I spent with him. I remember him lighting up the room with his humour and smile everywhere he went. He loved his family dearly. I remember his wonderful mother and sisters welcoming myself and other children from all over Glace Bay to their home. My condolences to his family.

Kenny’s family and ours were intertwined in so many ways. We were always connected at family events and special holidays. That infectious laugh and how he treated children when around them tells a lot about a fine man, which he was.

I will never forget how Kenny always treated me as family. From the day him and I first met, he never hesitated to make me feel at home. He always wanted to see the best out of everyone and will always take that worry off your shoulders. He’s that second father figure that taught me, that life is too short to worry about the minor things. I’m sure he’s somewhere up there watching over us, making sure that he still delivers that ray of sunshine he always gives! May you rest in peace Kenny, and ‘till we meet again!

Janet, Katie and Tylor I know your loss is great. There are no words that can change that and only time will soften the loss.
Kenny was never without a smile, helping hand and a colourful story to tell thought. I was lucky enough to know Kenny most of my adult life we were family and friends and he will be dearly missed. There’s was never a time that I called him for help or something and he’d answer the phone and say oh Faith what do you want now? Then laugh at me. He was always there no matter what.
