We are so very sorry to hear about Anne. We did not know she passed. I was asking my Mom( Lillian Pettipas) if she got in touch with her as she was trying to call and it was saying the line was disconnected. Mom said she must be using her cell. I looked Anne up on Facebook and we were shocked to read that she had passed away. Please accept our sincere condolences. Alf, Lil, Pamela and Nancy Pettipas

I worked with Anne for many years in the English Language Arts Department at Malcolm Munroe Junior High School. Anne was a lovely person and an excellent teacher whose kindness extended to all. Sincere condolences to the Pyke Family Anne’s laughter, her sparkling wit, her calm aura, and her upbeat attitude made my many years of working with Anne at Malcolm Monroe a joy. I admired devotion to her students, her kind words and kind deeds for others, the fierce love she had for her family, and the courage and grace she demonstrated in facing difficult detours in her life. In retirement, our lives took different paths, but our contacts continued via our Malcolm Munro Retirees get-to- gethers. I shall always cherish our friendship. Rest easy, Anne !

Chris, I'm terribly sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Oddly enough, I was thinking of her and Todd the past few weeks. I have a memory of her, at the General when my dad was in the hospital. She was going around delivering books for patients to read. She recognized me, I recognized her. It was extremely lovely to see a familiar caring face during a not-so-lovely time.
