Obituary of Frank John Dorogi

Frank John Dorogi, 85, of Halifax passed away January 23, 2018 at the VG Hospital. Born in Sydney, Cape Breton he was the son of the late John and Mary Dorogi. Frank was a long term resident of Halifax. He worked as a fisherman. He loved the boats and the Bill Lynch Show. He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion #27 (Vimy) Almon Street, Souls Harbour on Cunard Street and enjoyed helping anyone less fortunate. Survived by brothers, David and Jimmy both in Windsor, ON, and Joe in Dartmouth; daughters, Vivian in Windsor NS and Janice in St. Peter’s, Cape Breton; and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Predeceased by parents; sister, Mary; and brother, John. Celebration of Life will be held Monday, January 29 at 2 pm at the Royal Canadian Region Branch #27, Almond Street, Halifax. Private burial at Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.
