Dearest Mike and John and Family,
As a dear friend of your Mum we shared a something very special in common! Our love and admiration for her sons!! As Mike’s teacher at what was then St. Francis School in 1974-75…I had the pleasure of getting to know the Lukan family. John was right next door in Mr. Dennis O’Leary’s grade 6 room and I taught Mike in a combined 5/6. I have such vivid, delightful memories of my times with Mike and John and their equally talented classmates! A teacher’s dream! As a genuine fan and admirer of Evelyn Helen and the wonderful sons she raised, I am hoping to be at her celebration of life tomorrow and trust those dear men will share a big hug with me in memory of that most wonderful woman!
