Obituary of Gordon Bruce Collier

Age 83 of Halifax passed away on October 17, 2023 in Musquodoboit Harbour. Born in Halifax, NS he was a son to the late Bruce and Mary (Denty) Collier. Gordon worked at the Halifax Harbours Board after graduating from Business school in Truro where he studied accounting. After leaving the Harbours Board Gordon worked in construction until retirement age. He is survived by daughters, Joanie (Niall) O Maoileidigh; Ireland, Mary-Jane Collier; Alberta; sister, Edith (Collier) Kervin; Alberta; grandchildren, Hannah Fahie, Ranon and Olivia O Maoileidigh; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his sister, June Merlin; ex-wife, Sheila. Gordon like to fish but loved to hunt, he caught many fish and tagged many deer. The family wishes to extend our gratitude to the Doctors and Support Staff at Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital and The Birches.
