Dear Bev I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. John and I always enjoyed our time at the lake coming to your fires or your to your screen room enjoying coffee, tea or for the "boys", a brewskie. I'd bet the boys are enjoying one now if it were available. I am sending prayers and warmest sympathies to you, your family and all those who were touched by Jim's very presence. Dear Bev We just saw the obituary this afternoon of the unfortunate passing of Jim, we are so sorry for your enormous loss. We were unable to attend the Celebration of Life earlier today, hoping everything was fine. Our family memories of Eastern Passage have Jim, along with you front and centre he was always there to help Cheryl & the children when I was travelling you could always count on him whenever there was a problem or someone needed help. I remember the time he helped level our shed using the air bags from the fire hall, he was always thinking of better ways of doing things. It has been many years since we have seen you both but those memories always bring a smile to our faces and chuckle. Jim, you were a kind soul, just plain good people and a very special person; there is not enough people like you in the world. You will be missed. Jim you made your mark in your lifetime, now it is time for you to rest . We will always remember and treasure forever the times spent with you and Bev on Wentworth Circle Cheryl and Terry French

A visit down home always included a visit you and Aunt Bev. Shirley and I are so thankful that we were able to have lunch with you and Aunt Bev when we were down home in July. I loved hearing the stories of your “adventures”. You were a kind hearted person. I always loved the way you and Aunt Bev got along. You will be greatly missed by everyone who knew you. You were a well loved uncle. When we lived a street over from you, you would stop by our house in your fire truck and all my children and all the neighborhood children would run up to your truck and be wide eyed with amazement. You were the cool uncle with the cool fire truck. You taught my oldest daughter Brianna to eat crackers at a very young age. The children loved visiting in the downstairs where you and Aunt Bev had a fire going in the wood stove. Jeffery always loved trying on your fire helmet. Amelia love visiting when her siblings were in school as she got all the attention. Aunt Bev you truly were a wonderful part of our family before we moved away. We all love you and send you our prayers and hugs. Love Bubbles, Jeffery, Brianna and Amelia.

Uncle "Jimmy" will always be in our hearts and memories. Our boys loved when he'd put them through drills when they asked him. A special memory they have is him taking them to the fire station. He made our children feel special and they loved visiting him. Aunt Bev, my heart aches for you. I love you. Juanita, Rodney and the crew.
