I offer my sincere condolences to Mary’s family. We attended St. Michael’s High School and graduated together. I enjoyed running into Mary and sharing our love for the Guide and Scout Movements and getting caught up on all her adventures. Mary was witty, funny and I always walked away with a smile and light hearted. Mary will certainly be remembered in my thoughts and prayers.

My sincere condolences to Mary's family on her passing. I got to know Mary through Scouting and spent many May camps with her at Camp Carter.
" And when our span of life runs out,
We'll make this gentle plea
May we sit around His Campfire
At the Final Jamboree."

So very saddened to hear of Mary’s passing. I worked in the Lab with Mary for several years while at the Glace Bay Hospital. She was definitely a very unique individual; I truly enjoyed listening to all her stories and conundrums. I can still vividly see her walking into the Lab one morning with her glasses severely taped together because her beloved dog chewed them up. Passing on my sincere condolences to her family.

Condolences to Mary's family and friends. I went to highschool with Mary, then worked with her for a number of years at the Glace Bay Hospital Lab. She always teased me about being so much younger than me although it was about by six months. We had some great discussions over the years. She continued to absolutely amaze me with how she lived such a full and loving life despite her illness. She could not be stopped from making memories with those she loved. Mary requested that I sing at her service. I was honored. Unfortunately, I'm in Ontario and will not be home. I will be thinking of you all and sending my prayers.

My Condolences to all the family. Mary was a special lady (close family friend to my family) growing up on Pitt st everyone was family. When my mom passed away, Mary was right there for us, in fact she ordered several pizza’s for the celebration of life. She argued with me when I told her no. Mary always done what she wanted, you could never change her mind. It will be different not having her here for special occasions, but made the world better from just being in it. Rest peacefully
