To her children,
Our family first met Rita when we moved across the street in 1983. Rita always had a smile for us, especially for our daughters who were pre-schoolers at the time. Your Mom’s sunny disposition was certainly evidenced when youngsters were around. Throughout the years, she had special Halloween treat bags prepared for our children and, up to a few years ago, for our grandchildren as well. Her love of gardening was evidenced by the time she spent panting and pruning flowers and shrubs around her home. Your Mom would always tell us how proud she was of each of you and your families. She would just glow when talking about you and your accomplishments.
Rita will be missed by us who knew her in the neighbourhood and especially by you. Our condolences on this great loss.
Regards,
Jerry and Judy Black
