Obituary of Kimberley Anne McCormick

Kimberley Anne McCormick, 63 Glace Bay, NS It is with great heartache, that we, the family of Kimberley Anne McCormick, 63, of Glace Bay, announce her sudden passing, at home, on Sunday, August 13, 2023. Kim was the daughter of the late Ron and Anna MacDonald of Glace Bay, NS. Kim loved gardening and would volunteer with the Glace Bay Food Bank in doing the upkeep for their garden. Painting, and doing anything that involved Art, was one of her favourite hobbies. She was an avid reader and would sit for hours with a book. Most of all, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and family. Kim is survived by her loving husband Kerry McCormick of 38 years; two daughters Kaily and Lauren; brother Darrell MacDonald (Theresa); grandchildren Margaret and Max. Along with her parents, Kim was predeceased by a sister Diane and a brother Keith. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 10 a.m. with Fr. Norman MacPhee presiding, in T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS. 902-849-4199. Interment will take place in St. Anne’s Cemetery immediately following the service.
