Please accept my sincere sympathies on Dougie’s passing. I have many happy memories of visiting Aunt Gertie and Uncle Vincie’s house growing up. Everyone that visited there enjoyed Aunt Gertie’s cooking and baking and Uncle Vincie kept everyone entertained and laughing while Gertie did her magic in the kitchen. My memories of Douglas were that he was always happy, always laughing, and head over heels in love with Doreen from the moment he met her. We lost Douglas, Gerald, Sheldon and Marlene much too young but they they were ALL amazing people and brought a lot of joy to a lot of people during their lifetime.
