My grandfather's youngest sibling, Bitto Bua as we lovingly called her had a heart of gold full of love, affection and eternal care. When I got married in 2021, she wanted to come to India to be a part of the celebration. When she got to know that my wife knows how to sing, she couldn't resist herself from asking her to sing on a video call. Couple of years back she started to use WhatsApp and would call for hours and spoke to everyone especially on their special days. To Neha and Nitin, she was like no one else and I hope and pray that her lively and beautiful soul rests in eternal peace. Devang Chaturvedi

Bitto nani! The sweetest most loving, gentle, caring one ❤️ hard to believe that such a noble soul with the sweetest voice and the most giving heart is no more. The world was loved and warmed by her love. Words are not enough. My grandmother Hemlata was the eldest sister and Bitto Nani Snehlata the youngest. I was a kid when I attended her wedding in Delhi - shy and coy .. she maintained every single relationship sitting so far away from the family with utmost love! My visit to her a few years back will forever be etched in memory. Her world revolved around Nitin and Neha! Bitto nani my head is hurting so much as I write this but like a beautiful fragrance your love will always linger. We love u so much always!!

Bitto, as we lovingly called her, though was my youngest sister-in-law but she was more of a daughter to me than my sister-in-law When I got married she was in standard 9th, so my association with her dates back when she was just a child. She made a special place for herself by her affectionate and loving nature. I’m appalled by her sudden demise. I have no words to express my agony and the void left by her can never be filled. I pray to the Almighty to give her peace in her new abode and I’m certain she will spread happiness and sunshine wherever she is. May GOD give strength to Neha and Nitin to bear the loss. BITTO - my friend, little mausi (aunt), like a sister - though was my mother’s youngest sibling. So many relationships combined together. She is so close to my heart it is very difficult to share the life before our marriages we lived together. Yet after I visited her in Canada, she was the same - warm, affectionate, and caring. I wish I didn’t have to write all this in her memory…she is larger than life now and pervades all of us with her fond memories. Yet I firmly believe what the Bhagwat Gita says नैनं छिन्दन्ति शस्त्राणि नैनं दहति पावकः। न चैनं क्लेदयन्त्यापो न शोषयति मारुतः॥ “No weapon can cut the soul into pieces, nor can it be burned by fire, nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind” In essence - The soul which each one of us have is part of the eternal force. The soul is formless, shapeless, limitless, and doesn’t possess any physical attributes, but it still exists. It is birthless, eternal, imperishable, and timeless and is never destroyed when the body is destroyed. You live on in our memories, Bitto. And through your loving children - Neha and Nitin.
