So saddened to hear of Coleen's passing today. She was a fantastic woman, always cheerful and welcoming. I knew Coleen through having worked with her "boy" Brian years ago. He and I became friends. He was taken far too soon, in 2004. I met Coleen at his funeral service, and we had kept in touch ever since. I even spent a weekend visiting her at the "homestead" in "Number 2" Her hospitality was second-to-none. We had many, many a conversation, both in person and over the phone, through the years, and I always felt very close with her. She was just that type of person.
Her "boys" were her life. She provided for them, nurtured and loved them with all her heart.
She was a smart, strong woman; a "people person" who always kept a smile on, through thick and thin. I treasured our friendship.
May she rest in peace.
Her life truly mattered; she made a difference.
Sending sympathies to Allister, and also Craig, Colin and Greg at this time.
Sincerely,
Bill (and Sybil) MacLellan
