It is hard for me to summarize my heartfelt condolences to Joey, David and the family . Leona and Joey were names that were said very often and will continue to be around our family. Leona new everything about me good and bad growing up. Close neighbours and family friends we were to say the least . If I wasn't at home I was over Leona and Joey's with Marilyn, my childhood friend. Leona and Joey remained in our lives as we grew up and were an enormous support system for my Mother and Father. When in need we called " Leona and Joey". My heart is sad as I know my Mom's is as well and the rest of our family. May the Lord take Leona and give her comfort and peace as I am sure she will continue to watch over us . Sending my love and prayers to you Joey and David through this difficult time . To Joey, David all the family It is with great sadness we the Scattolon Family pass along our heartfelt condolence. Growing up as close nit neighbors , only to look out the kitchen window , curtains never closed and see Leona waving back , keeping a watchful eye on each other . Now she watches from Heaven and the waves will always be there. Although living in Glace bay , our town Dominion , the Italian Hall staff and everyone she ever served Chicken dinner and dirty potatoes to will miss her greatly. May Leona RIP, blessing to all .
