Flora
Too many years have passed since we all lived as neighbours in Woodside. It is always a sad time when we lose contact with people in our past and even a greater sadness when one has left us behind to go to a better place. I will always remember the good times we had as children. My condolences to you, your family and all of Allen’s friends.

So sorry to hear of Allen’s passing. Our families both lived on Woodlawn Road and went to St. Thomas More. However, my favourite memories of Al were on Lake Micmac. I never saw him water ski himself, but he would drive the boat and tow skiers for hours. He did this out of the goodness of his heart, evening after evening. As a teenager maybe I forgot to thank him properly, but I want his family to know it was much appreciated and never forgotten…

So sorry to hear about Al – he was an old classmate and chum from the 1960’s. I hadn’t seen him since then and a few months ago, started asking around as to his whereabouts. To my regret, I was too late in reconnecting. I shall always carry fond memories. My condolences to his family.
