To the family and friends of Rita : I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Rita at Woolco Pharmacy, many years ago and enjoyed her world views and sage advice. ( ie, it takes the same amount of time to do something wrong , as to do it right ! ) She took so much pride in her appearance and running her house , but even that paled next to her pride in her children and grandchildren. When she went to visit her family , Kenny would be in the store wishing she would return soon because , ... Nobody could do his white shirts like his " Rita" ! I bet she's in heaven doing everybodys' whites! My deepest condolences at this difficult time.

Denise, Janet, Paul and Gregory.. I want to pass along my deepest condolences on you mom's passing. Your home on Braemar Drive was always so welcoming. I fondly remember sitting in the living room swapping stories with Kenny. In fact, at one time, when your dad was taking some college course, he had to interview someone and he chose me. I believe he told me the prof was quite impressed with his presentation. It certainly wasn't the subject matter. Rita always had the tea pot on and sitting in the kitchen with her chatting about anything that stuck our fancy was always pleasurable. Such wonderful memories of a couple who were made for one another. God bless you all.

Sincere sympathy to Rita’s family on her passing. I spent many days at the homestead on Braemar Drive with Janet when we were teenagers. Their house was so inviting to company. We had lots of laughs with Kenny telling jokes. I also worked at Woolco with Rita during my highschool days. May she rest in peace. God Bless!

So sorry to hear of Rita's passing. Both she and Kenny were wonderful neighbors to Ray & I on Fatima Dr. I missed them terribly when they moved. I will always cherish the beautiful cards she sent at Christmas and our yearly Christmas phone calls. I will think of her fondly when I make her famous chocolate chip cookies which she generously shared her recipe. Rest in peace Rita, now reunited with your Kenny.

Surprised to hear of Rita’s death
Rita & Your Dad Kenny were involved in our family since We were children. I asked Rita this year past if she was still wearing her white bobby socks to see if the floors were dirty Yes was the answer. Mom & Rita would have long chats on the phone & I mean long & I would have a call once a month. Rita missed Kenny so much they are together again.
God Bless you all
